The Town of Waddington has new camping sites at Leishman Point, which are now available for rent. The town has developed four sites, each with a fire pit and picnic table. Park your RV or camper trailer or pitch your tent on top of Leishman Point and enjoy the unobstructed views of the majestic St. Lawrence River.

The Waddington public beach is adjacent to the campsite. It offers swimming, a playground, a basketball net, and a pavilion for all to enjoy. Bring your boat and safely moor it at the public docks at the beach. Watch the Great Lake freighters and recreational boats navigate the waters of the St.
Lawrence River while fishing, swimming, sunbathing, or just relaxing by the river. Pets are welcome, and a perimeter walking trail provides a place to exercise and access the shoreline.

While these sites are “carry in / carry out” and do not currently provide electricity, internet, water, or sewer hookups, portable generators are welcome. Renters can access the bathhouse and bathrooms / potable water at the adjacent Waddington Beach. Showers are also available for campers at Island View Park in the village of Waddington, located just three miles from Leishman Point.

All reservations for these sites are being handled through the “hipcamp.com” Reserve Now!
